Texas State Fire Fighters Support Miklos

On October 28, Mike Higgins, Chief of Staff & Legislative Director for the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters, informed State Representative Robert Miklos that he had received the organization’s endorsement for re-election in 2010.

Dear Representative Miklos:

It is an honor to inform you that the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters has endorsed you for re-election as State Representative for House District 101. Your work during the 81st Legislative Session, especially while serving on the House Committee on Urban Affairs, very clearly demonstrates your concern for the public safety of the citizens of Texas. Your understanding of the needs of Fire Fighters and Emergency Medical Service workers is evident in the manner in which you discussed and debated the issues and concerns affecting these working men and women. It is for these reasons that the TSAFF, representing some 15,200 members in 164 jurisdictions, strongly supports your efforts for re-election.

Sincerely,

Mike Higgins
Chief of Staff/Legislative Director
